EMA GM 2026 Helsinki
European Midwives Association’s General Meeting is held in Scandic Simonkenttä (Simonkatu 9, 00100 Helsinki, Finland) 25-26 September 2026.
The meeting is held by invitation only.
Attendance fee
260 EUR + 0 % VAT includes lunches and coffee breaks on both days and dinner on the 25 September.
For non-delegates dinner can be bought separately, the price is 65 EUR + 0 % VAT.

Dinner
Dinner on Friday 25 September is served from 19:00-22:00 in restaurant Simonkenttä located in Scandic Simonkenttä. Price includes starters, main and dessert + coffee and tea. Alcoholic drinks are not included; they can be bought from the restaurant.

Welcome reception
The City of Helsinki requests the pleasure of your company at a cocktail reception on Thursday 26 September from 18.00 to 19.00. Reception is held in Helsinki Old Court House (Aleksanterinkatu 20, 00100 Helsinki, Finland). The event is reserved for a maximum of 70 people and is free of charge.
Invitation is personal and only pre-registered guests may attend. Please present the QR code for the ticket at the entrance.

Cancellation / Refund policy
Cancellation by Participants
All cancellations must be notified in writing by email to the [email protected]. The registration fees will be reimbursed in accordance with the following cancellation policy:
Cancellation of Registration
Until 19 July 2026 – a 50 EUR administrative fee will be deducted from all refunds.
From 20 July 2026 until 16 August 2026 – a 50% cancellation fee will be applied.
From 17 August 2026 until 6 September 2026 – a 75% cancellation fee will be applied.
From 7 September 2026 – 100% cancellation fee will be applied.
It is possible to change the name/contact of the registered participant for an administrative fee of 20 EUR if requested at least one week before the event.
Refunds will always be issued to the original payment method.

Public Transportation
Helsinki centrum is easily accessible from Helsinki-Vantaa airport by public transportation. Commuter trains P and I run frequently to Helsinki Central station, which is a 700-meter walk from the venue. A single-trip ABC zone ticket costs 4,50 € and can be purchased via the HSL app or at a ticket machine.
