OPPORTUNITIES – European Midwives Participation to FIGO world Congress in Paris

As president of the European Midwives Association (EMA), I am part of the local organizing committee of FIGO Paris 2023 (international federation of Obstetrics and Gynecology) .

FIGO takes place in Paris in October 2023 (9-12).

It is a unique opportunity for exchange and knowledge acquisition. With an important orientation: women’s rights in the world.

The FIGO Organizing Committee is determined that midwives should be widely represented – for them it is obvious: midwives are essential professionals of women health.

I ask  for your support to forward the information to your colleagues , to the members of  your association

I know that this year there are several important midwives conferences  : our own GM in September  in Istanbul, the Conference in Greece at the end of October.

There will be  presentations in French, English and Spanish and simultaneous translation for the plenary sessions.

They will be able to meet French midwives on their worksite, enjoy time together  at the midwives world café.

The organizers have decided on reasonable registration fees ( different fees /countries)

There is the possibility of group registrations, all categories combined, to reduce registration costs.

We expect 8000 participants. I hope that the midwives of Europe will come in number .
